2011-2012 MERRITT COLLEGE MENS BASKETBALL TEAM

The start of the 2011-2012 Merritt College Men's Basketball Season is less than 2 weeks away.The expectations for success this season are extremely high. The Thunderbirds return 8 sophomores who had solid success last season, 2 red-shirted freshman who have matured mentally and physically and 2 of the top freshman recruits in Northern California. The Thunderbirds are primed to make a great run for the Bay Valley Conference Title as well as a long post season run.

The THUNDERBIRDS open up the preseason schedule against Hartnell College in the first round at the San Jose City College Tip Off Tournament November 10-12 at San Jose City College.
