The Thunderbirds start the beginning of week 3 strong by defeating the Contra Costa Comets by a score of Comets 64 Thunderbirds 79.
The Thunderbirds were led by:
William Tolefree led the Thunderbirds with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Tyler Idowu had another double-double of 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 steals.
Joshua Hatcher had a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Roman Robinson added 10 points.
The Thunderbirds look forward to coming home to take on there cross town rival the Alameda College Cougars. This conference game is a pivotal for both teams as the Thunderbirds expect a great crowd on hand as Peralta TV Sports will be televising the game. The women take on the Laney College Eagles at 5:30pm and the Men take on the Alameda College Cougars at 7:30pm. General Admission is $5 and fan wearing royal blue and gold get in for $3 and groups of 5 or more get in for $2 each. We are excited and look forward to seeing there!
